Whether stressors are large or small, their impact can ripple throughout every part of our lives, creating significant challenges. Especially in the relationships we have with ourselves and with others, both personally and professionally. Hardships, pain and guilt can accumulate to points of hopelessness, but finding a non-judgmental space through therapy can be transformative. I hope you’ll find that I offer a warm, supportive, and non-pathologizing environment where anything can be discussed openly. While I welcome all clients, I have a special place in my heart for working with individuals navigating life transitions, past or present trauma, relationship distress, communication struggles, poor self-perception, and difficulties surrounding food and body image.
I am a graduate of Chestnut Hill College’s Clinical and Counseling Psychology program, focusing on trauma-informed care and healing. My behavioral healthcare background includes work in correctional facilities, adult partial hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient programs, as well as adolescent residential programs, and outpatient therapy settings. While I naturally listen with a personal and systemic trauma-sensitive ear, I believe in adapting therapeutic modalities to best match the client’s needs and goals.
I believe therapy is a road that the client and therapist walk together, and the first step is establishing authenticity and trust on both sides. I invite you to remain open, ask questions and take an active role in your healing process. The therapeutic partnership is the foundation for progress and I hope to speak with you soon!
