My philosophy is rooted in the idea that we all have an innate, special capacity for growth when provided with the right conditions. I seek to create a gentle, peaceful, and authentic space that honors the whole person, not just the challenges they face. I view our work together as a collaborative partnership, where a soft and non-judgmental atmosphere allows for a natural exploration of your innermost thoughts and feelings.
My goal is to help you cultivate a deeper understanding of your internal landscape, providing the clarity needed to build a life that feels more aligned, healthy, and authentic to who you truly are. I believe that healing is found in the pursuit of wholeness-finding a sense of steady balance between the mind, the body, and the world around us.
I am a graduate of Marywood University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I have experience working in an adult partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient substance use and mental health program, as well as working as a counselor in a university counseling setting. I work primarily with adolescents, adults, and older adults.
As a clinician I have a holistic, person-centered and strength-based approach to counseling. I also utilize theoretical approaches adapted to the specific needs of the client, such as CBT and Gestalt therapy.
I hold a deep reverence for the trust required to begin this process, and I do not take the privilege of walking alongside you in your journey for granted-I look forward to working with you!
